Kovid-19 vakalarının artış eğiliminin sürdüğü ülkelerde yedek parça fabrikalarının işletilememesi ile küresel yarı iletken çip tedarik sıkıntısı üretici firmaları zor duruma düşürüyor.

Toyota'dan yapılan açıklamaya göre, Japonya geneli 11 tesisindeki 19 montaj bandını 1 Şubat'a dek durduracak.

Parça tedarik sıkıntısı kaynaklı uygulama Corolla, Prius ve Land Cruiser modelleri dahil toplamda 94 bin aracın imalatını geciktirecek.

Toyota bünyesindeki Daihatsu Motor da bu süre zarfında bazı tesislerini durduracağını açıkladı.
