İran Devrim Muhafızları Ordusu Deniz Kuvvetleri Komutanı Ali Rıza Tengseri, "Basra Körfezi'nde şu ana kadar ABD ile yaşanan doğrudan çatışmalarda 9 Devrim Muhafızının öldüğünü" söyledi.

Devrim Muhafızları Ordusuna yakınlığıyla bilinen Mehr Haber Ajansı'nın haberine göre, Tengseri, herhangi bir tarih belirtmeksizin Basra Körfezi'nde ABD ile yaşanan doğrudan çatışmalara ilişkin bilgi verdi.

Tengseri, "ABD ile Devrim Muhafızları Ordusu Deniz Kuvvetleri arasında birçok kez doğrudan çatışma oldu. 9 şehit verdiğimiz bu çatışmalardan bazısını basına yansıtmadık. Buna karşılık biz de 9 darbe vurduk." ifadelerini kullandı.

İranlı komutan, söz konusu çatışmaların ne zaman yaşandığına ilişkin ise bilgi vermedi.
